Spellbinders + Peanuts: Meet the New Collaboration

Who would have guessed? Spellbinders has partnered with Peanuts on a licensed collection, and this is one I did not see coming.  Can you believe it?  This is off the charts, and is going to make so many Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Peanuts lovers beyond ecstatic.

October 2 marks the 76th anniversary of Peanuts' debut, and Spellbinders announced the collaboration today

Andrea here from Crafts on the Move in Aquebogue, NY. As an authorized Spellbinders retailer, I see a lot of new releases, and this is one of the biggest announcements yet. I am elated to see a licensed collaboration come to wafer-thin dies, and I cannot wait to see all the cards and creative projects that come to life from this partnership. 

Why I am excited?

For me, Peanuts brings back some of my favorite holiday memories. In our house, their movies kicked off each holiday season, starting with Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and lastly Christmas. Every Christmas we had a Friday movie night, we baked our Christmas cookies while it played on the television. Years later, I carried a similar tradition on with my son.  Does this sound familiar?  Why are you excited?

Why This Is a Big Deal

Licensed collaborations are common in the digital cutting world. Cricut has partnered with names like Disney and SpongeBob for years. In the world of wafer-thin dies, a licensed collaboration like this is almost unheard of, and that makes this announcement special.

Who Is Peanuts?

Maybe you recognize them and maybe you don't, but Peanuts gang is iconic and was created by Charles Schulz.  The Peanuts gang was originally a comic strip and then a few movies were made bringing these characters to life on the big screen. 

The gang is beloved for their relatable personalities—there's Snoopy with his wild imagination and adventurous spirit, Woodstock offering loyal companionship, and Charlie Brown facing life's disappointments with determination and hope. These characters feel like friends because they capture the real messiness of life with warmth and humor, which is why they've stayed in our hearts for generations.

About the Collection

The products pairs Peanut's signature style with Spellbinders stamps, dies, Press and Foil Plates, and more. This collaboration has been months in the making. Every image went through Peanut's approval process, and each product has to capture the characters' personalities at a size that fits to cards. The result is a level of detail you have to see to appreciate.

When Will It Be Available?

The Peanuts collection releases around the first of December (fingers crossed0. As an authorized Spellbinders retailer, Crafts on the Move will carry the collection in our shop and online.
